Pollinates with Winter Nellis.

SUMMER PEARS
BUTIRRA PRECOSE - MORETINI
The fruit is medium in size and the skin colour is yellowish green with a red blush on about 30% of the skin. The flesh is white and of medium firmness. Excellent flavour and ripens in mid January. The flavour is sweet, sugary and slightly aromatic. A short storage life but a crunchy texture. Best planted as a pair with sister pear Rosata

BUTIRRA ROSATA - MORETINI
Another beautiful Summer pear, that is ready for picking in late January. It has a delicious fresh taste and texture. A medium sized fruit and of very high quality. A beautiful coppery red blush on a large percentage of the skin, which adds to its attractiveness. Precose for pollination.

NASHI PEAR
Generally the Asian or Nashi pear will grow anywhere apples will grow and should be treated similarly. They are hardy to frost but frost pockets should be avoided. Areas where strong winds are a problem should be avoided as this will cause fruit drop. Pear Willian Bon Chretien can be used to assit pollination and hand pollination is also successful.
