Apricots
An early season fruit ripening mid December until February
FITZROY
Originating in New Plymouth quite close to Fitzroy Beach, so it appears suitable for mild winter areas and as the original tree was isolated it appears to be self fertile. A consistent and heavy cropping tree with fruit ripening in February.
GOLD NUGGET TM
A traditional
yellow apricot with very sweet, outstanding old-fashioned flavour
and very little acid. Ripening late November/mid December with
small fruit (about 40mm). The tree has an upright to spreading
habit and is resistant to most diseases. It is a low chill variety
and therefore will crop successfully and heavily throughout the
northern and central regions of New Zealand as well as areas, which
traditionally grow apricots. Self-fertile. Grown on Peach rootstock
- 4 Metres. Not available in 2009
Gold Nugget is a trademark belonging to McGrath
Nurseries and a Royalty is included in the price
DUAL APRICOT ONE tree

one tree so they will pollinate each other. Grown on Peach rootstock
has a mature height of about 3-4 metres.
SUNDROP
